GRILLED TUNA STEAKS

TUNA STEAKS (3/4 INCH THICK)
1 CUP
THINLY SLICED GREEN ONIONS
1/4 CUP
PLUS 2 TABLESPOONS RICE WINE VINEGAR
1/4 CUP
PLUS 2 TABLESPOONS LOW-SODIUM SOY SAUCE
1 TABLESPOON
SESAME OIL
1 TABLESPOON
PEELED, GRATED GINGERROOT
1/4 TEASPOON
GROUND RED PEPPER
VEGETABLE
COOKING SPRAY
Place
tuna steaks in shallow baking dish. Combine green onions and
next 5 ingredients in a small bowl, stirring well; reserve
1/4 cup mixture, and set aside. Pour remaining mixture over
steaks. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 2 hours.
Remove
steaks from marinade; dish cooking spray; place steaks on
rack, and cook 4 minutes on each side or until fish flakes
easily when tested with a fork, basting frequently with reserved
green onion mixture.
